We saw him for the first time in ‘Vettaikkaran’ dancing with his father for the song “Naan Adicha Thaangamaate”. Now Vijay's son Sanjay will again do a cameo in his father's upcoming film ‘Kaavalkaran’.
According to reliable sources from the Vijay camp Sanjay will again do a cameo in ‘Kaavalkaran’ and is part of the climax scene appearing with his father as his son.
Vijay's land mark 50th film ‘Sura’ has opened to bumper response all over the world today. His 51st film ‘Kavalkaaran’ is also eagerly awaited. Itcompleted its first schedule of shooting in and around Kumbakonam and Karaikudi areas. The final part of the first schedule is currently happeningalong the ECR in Chennai.

The marriage between Sindhu and Prabhu took place in Bangalore on Sunday. Sindhu Menon hails from Irinjalakuda of Trichur District in Kerala. She completed her studies in Bangalore and settled there.

After this she acted with Jayaram in the Malayalam film Utthaman. She continued to act in Malayalam films including Vasthavam, Rajamanickam and T 20. In Tamil she was introduced by Bharathiraja in the film Kadal Pookal. She has also acted in the Tamil film titled Samudram. After a long hiatus she acted in the film Eeram.
She is currently acting in an English film. She was in love with Prabhu who is working as a software engineer in London. Both the parents haveapproved their love and agreed for the marriage. The marriage between the two took place in Bangalore. Only close relatives participated in the marriage.
The reception of the marriage took place in Bowering Club situated in M G Road. Film personalities including Eeram director Arivazhagan and actor Nanda participated in this function and greeted the couple.

Murugadoss ready for Suriya- sexy Shruthi

Murugadoss has completed the script for his film starring Suriya and Shruthi Haasan and is fully ready to go for the first schedule of shooting. It will be only Suriya and Shruthi Haasan who will participate in the first schedule.
According to sources close to Suriya, the team will fly to China for the first schedule and two songs will be picturised in that. One is a duet featuring the lead actors Suriya and Shruthi and the second song will feature Shruthi and 50 dancers.
The unit is gearing for the trip and before they board the plane Murugadoss is expected to announce the title of the film

Bale Pandiya movie has the happy Song2010

With the audio launched on Sunday, ‘Bale Pandiya’ seems to be receiving an encouraging response from the public. With the album having a nice mixture of songs, the song that is making the waves off the screen (and expect it to make waves on the screen as well) is “Happy”.

With his confession about the song being tuned in the bathroom, director Siddharth exclaimed that music composer Devan tuned it in the bathroom and called him on his mobile and made Siddharth listen to the tune to which he instantly agreed.

Siddharth added that twenty singers were involved in singing the song and the song was shot with all the 20 singers in Pondicherry in 4 days. Talking about the director’s feat, Devan said, Siddharth always thought unconventionally and he tried something different.

The singers involved were, Devan himself along with Haricharan, Naresh Iyer, Naveen Madhav, Paravai Munniamma, Malaysia Vasudevan, Ranjith, Aalaap Raju, Raqueeb Alam, Anuradha Sriram, Srinivas, Velumurugan, Manikkavinayagam, Mukesh, Malgudi Subha, Divya Vijay, Anitha, Suchithra, Vijay Yesudas and Rahul Nambiar.

Jeeva as a Hero and Villain in Singampuli2001

Jeeva is on a roll, certainly.  The actor’s latest film ‘Katcheri Aarambam’ opposite Poonam Bajwa has been doing reasonably well and he also managed to bag cinematographer-turned-director K.V. Anand’s ‘Ko’ opposite Varalakshmi (PLEASE CHECK) replacing Simbu when the later walked out of the film on his own citing ‘personal reasons’

Jeeva is also starring in another film titled ‘Singampuli’, which would mark the debutant Sairamani’s first film as director.  Sairamani had earlier worked with the likes of S.P. Jananathan (‘Iyarkai’, ‘Eeee’ and ‘Peraanmai’) and Suresh Krishna, who has directed bigwigs like Rajnikanth, Kamal Haasan and Vijaykanth.
When asked about Jeeva’s dual roles in the film, Sairamani has this to say. “Viewers might have seen many stars essaying double roles in many films, starting from the late MGR’s ‘Enga Veetu Pillai’ to the latest ‘Villu’ by Vijay. ‘Singampuli’, however, would be different in more ways than one as Jeeva plays both the hero and the villain who opposes the hero.
“It had to be very convincing as otherwise audience might get irritated.  Jeeva had undergone changes in his looks, get-up, voice modulation and make-up to differentiate between both the leading characters.  As and when it releases, it would be a virtual treat to the viewers.  The action film also has plenty of computer-generated graphics sequences,” said Sairamani.

He also revealed that a couple of fight sequences and a duet song would be filmed abroad.

Na Muthukumar while speaking to the media said,” The songs which I have written for the films Paiyya and Angaadi Theru was well received by the people. I am really happy about this.

The reason for this is that stories of both of the films were set in different backgrounds. Paiyya is a commercial film whereas Angaadi Theru is a realistic film. While writing for commercial films, it is not necessary to go deep into the stories. But while writing for realistic films we have to travel with the story.This is a very challenging matter. I am also of the view that one lyricist is enough for a film. Then only we can be recognized as well as give variety of songs.
