Ayngaran International Films, Vasanthabalan directed Angadi Theru, after a normal opening has really picked up speed at the box-office.
The film after netting nearly Rs 25 lakhs in its opening weekend, due to good word of mouth and rave reviews has picked up impressively on Monday.
Both Sathyam and Inox has reported full house on Monday, a working day which augers well for the film. While theatres like Sangam and Kamala too has shown an improvement in collections.
All the directors and other technicians in Kollywood have words of appreciation for the film. They are unanimous that it is the “most gutsy and realistic film seen in recent years”.
Now if the theatres in Tamil Nadu cooperate, Angadi Theru has potential to be a sleeper hit, as the holiday season has started.
