Pool-Playing Robot

New Scientist reveals a Pool-Playing Robot made at the Technical University in Munich, Germany. A camera above the pool table looks down at the table and evaluates the best shot. Then, two robotic arms control a cue stick to sink a ball. The robot has an 80% success rate in getting the ball to the pocket. The device also can help a human learn to sink a ball by projecting suggested direction lines directly onto the table. All it needs now is a voice box to garbage talk and do the hustle.
