Superstar Rajinikanth on Sunday praised Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi for his tireless work even at the age of 87.
“Even at this age, he is active and works with utmost dedication. The veteran politician has been working tirelessly for the welfare of the common man and hence he is always active”, Rajinikanth said.
The Superstar was speaking at a function in Chennai to launch Kalaignar Nagar for employees of the film industry. “Kalaignar Nagar will be on the lines of Samathuvapuram, a concept launched by Karunanidhi to promote equality habitats across the State,” he said.
“This function is a family affair and it is a pleasure to be part of it. Wherever I go, people ask me about Kalaignar and I cannot stop appreciating the 87 year-old leader who is working for the welfare of the people for more than six decades,” the top actor said.
